Analysis you can check
Useful comparisons begin with evidence and a calculation you can reproduce.
How much energy must an appliance save to recover a £300 premium?
A sensitivity table using a dated Ofgem reference rate, hypothetical energy reductions and the same purchase premium. See why lower running costs do not establish a universal payback.
What qualifies for publication?
Each report identifies its input units, source dates, formulas and limitations. Scenario inputs are labelled as assumptions. A product-specific comparison needs matching capacity and programme evidence, an exact model identifier, current specifications and permission for any licensed feed material. We do not turn retailer prose into hands-on testing or invent ratings.
Approved merchant feeds are not connected yet. Product-specific studies remain pending that evidence. The current report analyses a verified tariff reference and hypothetical energy savings; it is not a ranked product shortlist or a live offer.
